Eye Witness Says Bobbi Kristina in bath tub says she and Nick fought over stripper that night

Published

The friend who found Bobbi Kristina Brown unconscious in a bath tub has spoken out about that tragic night.

Max Lomas, who dated Bobbi Kristina when they were teenagers and remained friends with her and her partner Nick Gordon, told People magazine Bobbi Kristina and Nick had had a big fight earlier in the evening, when she accused him of cheating with a stripper.

“Things were shaky. They were just trying to stay out of each other’s way,” says Lomas, who admits to using drugs that night.

Lomas says he was at a club with Gordon and another friend when Brown called and accused Gordon of being at a strip club and cheating on her with strippers.

After leaving the club “in a hurry,” Lomas says: “They were arguing the whole way home. We get home and she is just sitting there on the ground all delusional… just in her own little world.”

The situation became even more heated, Lomas says, when he and Gordon viewed security footage of their home and noticed cigarette butts from a brand Brown did not smoke and two empty bottles of wine inside the house.

After an intense argument between the couple, Lomas claims Gordon and Brown made up and then headed upstairs. That is where Lomas later found Brown face-down and floating in a tub of cold water in the bathroom.

“I saw her there, and I picked her up out of the water and laid her on the ground,” “I saw the color of her face and that she wasn’t breathing. I called for Nick and called 911.”

According to Lomas, Gordon administered CPR, and Brown regurgitated water twice.

Gordon and his lawyers have vehemently denied the accusations and, in a statement to PEOPLE, questions Lomas, describing him as “a drug addict.”

2027 Elections: Ibadan Indigenes’ Council Warns Oyo Politicians Against Violence

Published

on

The Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) has called on politicians and their supporters in Oyo State to avoid violence and promote peaceful campaigns ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The council’s President-General, Chief Ajeniyi Ajewole, made the appeal in a statement issued by its Publicity Secretary, Kola Olomide, in Ibadan on Saturday.

Ajewole’s warning followed reports of violent clashes involving political supporters in the Molete area of Ibadan, which raised concerns about public safety as political activities ahead of the elections gather momentum.

He condemned the incidents, warning that political violence could threaten peace and security across the state. He urged candidates and their supporters to exercise restraint, respect opposing political views and avoid actions that could lead to the destruction of lives and property.

The CCII president-general also called for campaigns centred on policies and development plans rather than intimidation or confrontation. He said political candidates should explain their manifestoes and how they intend to address the needs of residents.

Ajewole further urged political leaders to caution their supporters against inflammatory statements and actions capable of heightening tensions during the election period.

He stressed that political ambitions should not come at the expense of public safety, adding that maintaining peace in Ibadan and the wider Oyo State was a collective responsibility.

The council also appealed to security agencies to remain vigilant and ensure that anyone found responsible for political violence is dealt with in accordance with the law.

The call followed an attack on supporters of Accord Party governorship candidate Oriyomi Hamzat during a procession in the Molete area of Ibadan South-West Local Government Area on Wednesday.

The Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, Olayinka Ayanlade, confirmed the incident to The PUNCH, stating that Hamzat’s supporters had been ambushed during what was described as a peaceful procession.

As preparations for the 2027 elections continue, the council’s appeal adds to growing calls for issue-based campaigns and a political environment in which voters can participate without fear or intimidation.
